Frequently asked questions

Q: What is screen-printing?
A: Screen-printing is the process of printing ink through a fabric mesh or stencil. In our case we use a squeegee to push thick plastic ink through a polyester mesh that has a stencil photographically burned into it. The result can be anything from a big block of color to the most delicate and intricate detail.

Q: What is Direct Digital printing?
A: Direct Digital printing is the process of printing directly onto a substrate like t-shirts or towels from a digital printer. New technology has enabled us to print high quality full color prints that will last the life of the t-shirt. Unlike other digital processes that use transfers, Direct Digital prints on 100% cotton shirts using soft and environmentally safe water based inks. The feel of the design is virtually undetectable.

Q: What is your minimum order?
A: Our minimum order for screen-printed shirts is one dozen shirts of the same style.
There are no minimums for Direct Digital items.

Q: After I receive my screen-printed shirts and I find I didn’t order enough can I re-order only a few pieces?
A: No. Our minimum order is one dozen.

Q: Let’s say I ordered 144 shirts for my first order and I want to re-order only 12 more shirts, will I receive the re-order of 12 shirts for the same price as the 144 shirts?
A: No. You will be billed at the 12-piece price.

Q: How long does it take to complete an order?
A: For screen-printed shirts it takes about 7-10 business days from the time you place your order.
For Direct Digital orders it takes about 2-4 days from the time you place your order.
Shipping time will vary depending on where you are in relation to California. In most cases it shouldn’t take more than 6 days.

Q: Can I get a rush order?
A: That depends on how quickly you need it. If it is possible then a rush charge may be added.

Q: I would like to see an actual printed sample before I commit to the final order. Do you do this?

A: We always strive to provide the best possible artwork and printing. For the few people who do require a pre-production sample we will provide one. A sampling fee that covers all the costs up to that point plus the shirt will be charged before a sample will be sent.
